HEATHER DOOLITTLE - COACH
COACHING AND PLAYING EXPERIENCE:
Heather Doolittle is a Southern California native who grew up in Temecula California and
graduated from Great Oak High School in 2007. Her senior year she led the Wolfpack to their
first co-Southwestern League Championship. That year she was named Californian Player of the
Year, Riverside Press-Enterprise Player of the Year, and Southwestern League Player of the
Year. Her last two years of club volleyball she led the team with third and fifth-place finishes in
the Junior Olympic Open Division. Also, during her High School season she traveled to Italy with
the 2006 SCVA regional team and the year prior was an USA A2 team member.
She then went on to play at the University of Oregon for the next four years on a full
ride scholarship. She started as a Freshman and ended the season ranked second in hitting
percentage for the Oregon Ducks. Other honors she received her Freshman year included
Baylor Invitation MVP, All-PAC 10 Freshman, All-PAC 10 Honorable Mention, and Oregon Kickoff
Classic All-Tournament team. The next three years of her college experience she became one of
the PAC 10’s most dynamic players ending her college season as NCAA All-Region Tournament
Team, All PAC 10 Honorable Mention, and All PAC 10 First Team.
After College, she left the states to pursue Professional Volleyball in Austria, Germany
and Puerto Rico for the next four years. She finished her first year in Austria as player with the
most points in the MEZVA League. Then in Germany she took first and second place finishes in
the Deutschland Pokal Championship. After her last season in Germany, she decided she
wanted to come back home and start a new life coaching instead.
Heather has been coaching for the last 5 years. She has coached at all levels including Club,
High School, Beach Volleyball and private lessons.
